Goodbye Maas, Hello Norway!

Here I am. Back in Norway. I've decided that for once I'm going to write in english on this blog. But don't keep your hopes up...it's probably the first and last time. Even after speaking english for five months I must admit I still feel more comfortable writing in norwegian.
I really can't believe my semester in Maastricht is already over! Wow, it has been five amazing months. Amazing and intense months. So it's definitely the time for being nostalgic, haha. You came there knowing almost nobody, but after the introduction week you already knew everybody. And experiencing the whole Maastricht turning upside down during the carnival was something you just couldn't miss. Completely crazy! *Wat a super sjoene daag, lalalalala*. Gotta love it...! Amsterdam during the Queen's Day was quite different from when me and Kjersti visited it earlier, that's for sure! Queen's Night and Queen's Day was two unforgettable experiences. Don't think I've ever experienced so many people at the same place! Aaaawh, and Cantus...Prosit Very Beautiful Corona, Prosit Very Beautiful Senõr.Epic!! The beautiful life of Erasmus...

You get to know so many people from so many different places, and spending so much time with them during the five months you get to know them really well. And then, suddenly, everything is over. So you leave Maastricht with the feeling that everybody is going home on vacation and will be back in Maas after the summer. But today it suddenly hit me: That's not the case. People are going back home to Australia, Brazil, the US and different countries in Europe. People I'm used to see every single day for five months. And me, I'm back in Norway, supposed to pick it up where I left. Easier said than done. After living a rather surrealistic life in Maas it's back to reality.

So yeah, I'm gonna miss it. I'm gonna miss all the unforgettable nights at the Highlander followed by a completely overcrowded de Alla. The ridiculous Dutch music. Lazin' in the sun outside the guesthouse. BBQ's in Malberg. The travelling...both time and money will be rather limited now. And the fries...mmmm! Of course non of this would have been anything special without great people. I owe it all to you guys!!! Hopefully I will see many of you around someday. I'm sure I will! Miss you!!!
